information.
Earth Day is an annual event dedicated to supporting the Earth’s environmental protection. We celebrate this event on April 22nd providing the importance of putting an end to plastic pollution and keeping the Earth healthy and clean. This movement began in 1970 and has continued each year with support from various events around the world to protect our planet now and for the future.
After 19 years on this Earth and traveling to about 50 different countries. I have totally fallen in love with the planet that we live on, it is breathtaking.

The sky is my absolute favorite because it is full of so many shades of colors and it never looks the same at any moment or angle. The clouds and the sun are continuously changing and moving around. Mountains are also amazing because they look beautiful at any size, shape, or height.
Earth is just so freakin’ cool to me and I just wish that some people took more time to look around and take in everything that we are given, for FREE! I also hope for people to realize how blessed we are to be able to call Earth, “our home”. And that they begin to take better care of it.
Here are just some pictures that I have personally taken around the world. Each of these has been taken from an iPhone and doesnt have any edit. I think they are pretty neat!
Take some time to look at the details and let it sink in. Show some gratitude and appreciate this place that we call “Earth” and “Home”.
These pictures are powerful. But, don’t forget that getting to experience this in person is so much more powerful.
Colorado
Look at the ice and snow that has gathered among the mountains and roads.

Rocky Mountains
This was a stream I saw on a hike up the Rocky Mountains. These mountains are known to have the highest peak in North America. Imagine how many more streams they have similar to this one and what else is going on throughout the lands of the mountains.

Arizona
I never knew there were so many different cactus species until I began to explore Arizona’s deserts. (There are about 2,000 by the way).

Florida
The reflection in the ocean is so cool and the best part is, is that this was taken in my backyard!

Sweden
The colors on the leaves changing and falling onto the street and grass… so fascinating.

Hiking through the woods with my host sister in Switzerland.

Belgium
This is just at some random park that my Belgian friend took me too.

Plane views
Seeing the sun peak out and say good morning to the Earth is so captivating!

Well, I totally adore this planet that we live on. It is absolutely beautiful!
and…hopefully, you do too because we are ALL so BLESSED!

I am a small girl in a BIG world.
And I can make a small impact. But together, we can make a BIG impact!
Let’s save Earth!
We as humans should care about our home every day. This is the only planet we get to live on.
Most of us like to have a nice and pretty home. I mean, I don’t know many people that just throw trash on the floors of their bedroom. So think of it like this – if you don’t want a dirty house, then why would you want a dirty planet? Next time, you have trash keep it until you see the next trash can or recyclable. Also, if you see someone else littering or treating the planet poorly. Call them out!
Other ways that you can help save planet Earth
-Go and enjoy nature. There are so many options for spending time outside. You can hike, bike, or even go to the park and enjoy nature at the same time.
-By investing in Tupperware, you can use them to store meals and reuse them throughout the day. Instead of having to use a new one every time or even several of them throughout the day! This will help from generating as much waste each day around the planet.
-Unplug from electronics, at least for one day… This one is hard but it won’t only be helping the Earth by decreasing power plant emissions. But it will also save you some money on your electricity bill!
-Plant some plants. Inviting some friends over to plant or even leaving the house to go plant elsewhere, can make this activity a lot of fun! Plus, it is really exciting to watch as it grows over time.
So, as you can see there are multiple ways to help save the planet and appreciate Earth!
I challenge you to try and do at least one!
Which way’s will you partake in?
Do you think it will be easy for you or will this be a more difficult challenge?
